Looking after your hair: haircare saviours.

Haircare is one of those things I hadn't really been interested in for a while, until late last month. I often find that I get bored with my hair and fancy a change - perhaps a bob or something different. The only problem is once I cut my hair I end up hating it, so instead of doing this again I decided to just look after my hair. Obviously I still need to get it cut, but at least it will be in better condition than it was before. One thing I have started doing is not washing my hair everyday. I wash it once every 2-3 days now and I have seen such an improvement. I use Batiste Dry Shampoo (£2.99  hereon the days I haven't washed it which helps keep it looking clean without washing out all the natural oils and everything else. When I do wash my hair the process is quite long. I start with using Nioxin Scalp Revitalising shampoo and conditioner  (£20.50 here)which is a three step process and helps to thicken out hair and stop breakage. After applying these, I use the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque (£10.20 here) or Macadamia Moisturising Rinse (£14.30 hereto help soothe my hair and replenish any lost also smells amazing and makes my hair feel so soft. When my hair is wet, post wash, I used the L'Oreal Ever Riche oil (£10.99 hereon the ends of my hair to help keep shine and also work on helping repair any damage I have previously done. The third Nioxin step is this Nioxin scalp and hair revitalising treatment which is a mousse you rub into the scalp and alongside the shampoo and conditioner it helps a lot to repair your hair and make it stronger. Occasionally if I want extra moisture I will use a Macadamia Leave in Conditioner (£15 hereon my hair to give it a little more tlc, and it looks amazing after! Once everything is dry and I have styled my hair, I usually spray the ends with this SP Wella light oil (£13.50 herewhich leaves my hair feeling soft, looking shiny and smelling amazing. I did used to use label.m protein spray (£13.25 herewhich is hands down one of the most amazing products I have ever used, but I have run out and yet to replace (oops). Now all I need is a trim and to ombre my hair, getting a little bored of brown hair now!

What are your favourite products to use?

  1. I don't know but I am skeptical about hair products like masks and mousses, I have tried a couple they didn't do any change, so I abandoned this idea really. Unless I hear and see the visible result of the products in view on somebody, It looks very beautiful in its packaging. Macadamia Deep Repair Masque sounds very attractive, if it really makes your hair softer, then I should give it a try I think and Argain oil as well seems to do the same job, that's what I heard from people. Have a lovely weekend darling! <3 Zhanna,

  2. Nice blog :) I'd love if you checked out my blog, and if you like it, I promise I’ll follow you back.
