Where I want to be in 10 years

With winter in full force, exams nearing, stress rising and everything else life throws at you sometimes it is a little hard to look on the bright side, see why you're doing what you're doing.  I doubt I am alone in saying there are times when you think why am I doing this or do I even need alevels/GCSEs/Diplomas/degree to get a good job and you really start to doubt whether what you're doing is right. I have those moments a lot, and believe me sometimes it is really hard to find the inner motivation and determination to think yes I want this, I want my alevels and after having gone through this a lot I wanted to share with you the things I often do to give myself the moment of clarity and realised why I am doing what I am doing. These are the things I would of like to achieve in ten years...

I want to fall in love: yes yes yes this is so cliche. I don't expect it to happen any time soon, and I don't want to at this age. But at 28 I would of liked to find someone who I can rely on, talk to and be myself around whenever. Gotta see what life will throw at you!

I want to of saved a life: I already know that if I have children I will adopt, but whether that will be at 28 I don't know. But I do want to save someones life, whether it be physically or even helping them in a small way.

I want need Carrie Bradshaws Walk In: The dresses, the shoes, the bags, the shoes, the jackets...and the shoes. Every time I watch the 1st/2nd film I love it...to be honest I'd totally settle for the one in the series too.

I want to live in Chelsea or Kensington: There is no denying that the property sales here are in the millions so a high wage is kind of required. I love the Chelsea vibe, Kings Road, the boutiques and more importantly the variety of food.

I want to be able to volunteer for a charity: I have always wanted to do something a bit more permanent for a charity, but right now I don't have the funds or time to volunteer. So I want to work towards being able to volunteer when I am older without having to worry.

I want to be able to travel: The world is full of beautiful places full of different cultures, people and everything else. I want to experience as much as I can.

To save a puppy: I want a puppy, I want to save it from a shelter as I think it's good to help a dog which needs it!

I want to be happy: last, but definitely not least. The most important. After seeing what true sadness was like this year, I want everything I do over the next 10 years and more to make me happy!

Those are the main things I want. Yes they are quite big goals and I will hold my hands up in admitting some of them are materialistic. ButI also know I won't be able to achieve them without hard work and everything else. Whenever I am feeling a little uninspired I always research one of these, whether it be looking at the prices of rent in Chelsea or researching places to travels. Although as cliche as it sounds, in the past year I have realised that although I want this stuff I don't need it. A year ago I would of said I wanted to just be rich, but after a hard year and everything else I've realised life is definitely about a lot more. Family, friends and happiness definitely come before...but think of things you can treat them to with money? eh.

Everyones dreams are different. What do you want to of achieved in 10 years?
