Pai Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream review

Hey my lovelies. I mentioned I was going to review this product for you in my post on Sunday as I really do want to share how great it is with you! I was lucky enough to win this through Pai and they were offering a product for something which would help make your skin ambitions easier. I received this as I mentioned I had bad skin and it was oily.

Pai Describe the product: "Pai Geranium & Thistle Combination Skin Cream is formulated to clear and rebalance oily, T-zone skin, using only the cleanest organic ingredients. This non-greasy moisturiser smoothes and hydrates combination skin to leave a bright, luminous complexion. High levels of Essential Fatty Acids in organic Thistle and Borage oil help to calm unsettled skin and even out skin tone. The clever non-cloy, non-clog formula absorbs instantly to leave a matte velvet finish, making a perfect base for make-up.That's why it is the moisturiser of choice for professional make-up artists on film and fashion shoots!"

Okay so firstly, the packaging. It comes in just a box with pretty floral patches over the box. It is a plain glass bottle with the brand on it. The packaging isn't second to none, but the actual product is so good I honestly don't mind. I don't keep my skincare out, so it doesn't particularly matter what it looks like! So onto the product. The smell is absolutely amazing, like one of the best smelling skincare items ever. It smells rather floral, but quite strong. At first I was worried it might be too strong, but it definitely isn't once rubbed in and leaves you skin smelling and feeling fresh. The product comes out just like any moisturiser, but very light. I can't personally use moisturiser which is too thick as it makes my skin really oily, so this is the perfect texture. I only need a pea size amount to cover my skin and ensure it is fully moisturised so it last ridiculously well. For moisturising I absolutely love this product, I apply it just before bed and found that I wake up with super soft and less bumpy. I also use it as a primer as it does state you can use it for a primer, and it works an absolute treat. A 2 in 1 product, it is outstanding.

So now onto the results. I have noticed a difference in my skin already, it really is amazing. My oily t-zone is reduce as are my pores. When using it around breakouts, they haven't been as severe. I knew it was this product which is helping because I stopped for a couple of days to use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo on my skin to see if it would help calm my skin, but stopping using this product and switching actually had the opposite effect and I woke up with worse skin than before. I am not entirely sure if it was down to the Effaclar Duo, but I will try it again and see the results. This product has been doing wonders for my skin and leaves it nowhere near as greasy as before but also moisturised, something I have been desperate to use for a long time.

The product is available on their website for £24 for 30ml, click here to buy! I honestly would advise this product to you 100%. As I won it, I wasn't ask to review this or anything but I really did want to share it with you because I have loved it so much recently. It is definitely a reasonable price for this product as it really will last long as you need the smallest amount of product to cover your whole face.

I am hoping to try out some more products from their range as I am so happy with this one and feel the others could really help out my skin. Also, if you are thinking of purchasing this product or another, they have free shipping on their website at the moment. Check out Pai here and I hope you enjoy the product just as much as I have!

PS. Please check out my blog sale here and enter my giveaway as it finished in a day or so!
